A Bit About Me
Zoie Weldon is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. She graduated with her high school diploma as well as her AA degree simultaneously from Polk State Collegiate High School in Lakeland, FL. She then received her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU).
Counselor Weldon has experience working with different populations within the realm of social work, from micro-level social work (including providing counseling to at-risk youth, teens, and families struggling with substance abuse addiction), to macro-level social work (working with different nonprofit organizations, fundraising, and facilitating events around the community). Counselor Weldon is also a Registered Behavioral Technician with experience in ABA therapy (which involves working with children with different disabilities like ASD), ADHD, Down Syndrome, and more. In her downtime, Counselor Weldon loves to cook for her family and friends, travel, walk with her dog Bleu, and work out at the gym. Counselor Weldon’s passion for this field is evident and shown through her bubbly personality and infectious smile. She goes by the motto “The only way out is through.” and loves helping people push through hard times when life hurts.
