She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, with a specialization in neuropsychology, the study of the relationship between the brain and behavior.

Dr. Ramrattan has assessment experience working with a wide range of concerns, including academic support, emotional and behavioral challenges, memory and cognitive functioning, and recovery from head injuries. Her psychotherapy experience includes working with children facing neurodevelopmental, behavioral, or emotional concerns; adolescents coping with behavioral and emotional challenges often related to school difficulties, family separation, generational trauma, or sexual abuse; adults seeking support for long-standing emotional difficulties, career challenges, or navigating court-related matters, and older adults who have faced multiple losses, are experiencing new challenges through aging, or are processing and preparing for end-of-life transitions. In addition, Dr. Ramrattan takes a culturally sensitive approach to her work, creating a respectful and inclusive space for clients from diverse backgrounds. She also prioritizes client privacy, ensuring that clients feel safe and secure throughout their therapeutic journey.
Dr. Ramrattan uses a variety of evidence-based approaches such as behavioral therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), and more, tailoring each session to what feels right for you. Whether you prefer a structured plan or a more relaxed, open conversation, she will ensure that the therapy is effective and tailored to your needs.
Dr. Ramrattan is caring and creates a welcoming, respectful environment where everyone feels comfortable. She values your independence and encourages you to take an active role in your mental health journey, supporting you every step of the way with her collaborative approach.
